Por primera vez aparecen postulados Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Angelina Jolie, 5 Seconds of Summer, Channing Tatum, Meghan Trainor, Chris Pratt, Fifth Harmony, Jessie J, Liam Hemsworth, Imagine Dragons y Elle Fanning.
La lista incluye además a Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lawrence y Selena Gomez, quienes se mantienen como los favoritos del público, de acuerdo con un comunicado de prensa.
Este año, Nick Jonas será el anfitrión del “show” desde el “Fabulous” Forum en Inglewood, California, y la votación para todas las categorías ya está abierta en el portal de Internet mundonick.com.
Este año, los latinos nuevamente se harán escuchar, ya que Dulce María (México), CD9 (México), Lali Esposito (Argentina) y Maluma (Colombia) competirán en la categoría de “Artista Latino Favorito” y Anitta, Luan Santana, Lucas Lucco y MC Gui por “Artista Brasileiro Favorito”.
A partir de este fin de semana los chicos podrán votar por sus favoritos en 23 categorías, incluyendo algunas nuevas como “Show Favorito de Talento”, “Show Favorito de TV Familiar”, y el “Juego más Adictivo” y “Nuevo Artista Favorito”.
Los superhéroes dominaron las categorías de cine este año con The Amazing Spider-Man 2 y X-Men: Days of Future Past enfrentándose cara a cara con cinco nominaciones cada uno. En las categorías de música, Ariana Grande y Iggy Azalea obtuvieron tres nominaciones.
En la televisión, “The big bang theory” compite contra “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, “Once upon a time”, “Modern family”, “Gotham” y “The flash” en la categoría de “Show Favorito de Televisión Familiar”.
Los Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award 2015 serán transmitidos en los mercados internacionales próximamente, dándole a los chicos alrededor del mundo la oportunidad de sintonizar a su canal local de Nickelodeon para disfrutar del espectáculo.
La votación para los KCAs 2015 se expande alrededor de seis continentes a través de 19 sitios web de votación además del voto por Twitter usando el hashtag (#KCA) que le da la oportunidad a los chicos a votar en todas partes para decidir quién se lleva a casa el codiciado zeppie.
La 28 celebración anual de los Kids’ Choice Awards 2015 es producida por Nickelodeon Productions. Jay Schmalholz, Shelly Sumpter Gillyard y Andrew Llinares son los productores ejecutivos. Ben Thursby es el co-productor ejecutivo.
